Grades

Grading Policy

  • A = 90% – 100%
  • B = 80% – 90%
  • C = 70% – 80%
  • D = 60% – 70%
  • F = lower than 60%

Honors and Regular Chem Year Grade Breakdown

  • 1st semester = 40%
  • 2nd semester = 40%
  • Cumulative Final = 20%

Semester Letter Grade Breakdown

  • Classwork and Homework = 25%
  • Laboratory reports = 25%
  • Test, Quizzes and Projects = 50%
  • When calculating the semester grade, I will drop the lowest test grade.
